"Absolutely perfect, 10/10 ! We chose Château de Maulmont as our wedding venue, and we could not recommend it enough. The chateau is located in the heart of beautiful Auvergne. Images cannot do the chateau justice, it is absolutely breathtaking and must be experienced in person. The grounds are filled with flowers and green plants, and everything is really just perfect.
We are from Norway and therefore planning a wedding in France would be very hard for us without all the help from Maartje. She held our hand every step of the way and was crucial for everything coming together so beautiful as it did. All the vendors Maartje recommended to us were also fantastic ! Food, flowers, fireworks were all top, top class.
We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding weekend so extraordinary ! We wish you both all the best ! :) "
" Tous nos invités étaient sous le charme. Les chambres étaient parfaites, le chateau est suffisament proche de Vichy pour permettre de ne pas perdre trop de temps en voyage. Maartje et Ian sont des hôtes de qualité qui sont réellement à l'écoute de toutes nos attentes. Les enfants se sont pris pour des petits rois et petites reines, comme nous à vrai dire. La piscine a été pris d'assaut le dimanche, le sauna a beaucoup plu. Bref, ce moment fut inoubliable pour nous et tous nos invités ce sont amusés et nous n'avons eu que des compliments sur le leiu.
Même Cendrillon n'a pas un château aussi chouette que le Château de Maulmont ! "

"My husband and I got married at Château de maulmont this summer. It was entirely magical. Ian and Maartje are exceptional hosts. They were so flexible and accommodating. Everything was five star, in fact, my guests are still talking about it ! As it was a destination wedding for us, Maartje was extremely helpful with the organizing. She in fact did the work of a wedding planner ! I am forever grateful and would recommend this venue to anyone interested in a fairytale wedding ! Thank you again !!! "

"Château de Maulmont is truly spectacular. When we first visited we both fell in love with the building and it's surrounding area. We were met by Maartje who was so welcoming and once we decided to book the chateau for our wedding the following year, she was helpful in so many ways and very orgaised. We live in Dubai but are from the UK so planning a wedding in France could be very difficult but Maartje made it seamless, she even attended our food tasting to help translate.
Our wedding weekend was incredible. Both Maartje and Ian were around the whole time for anything we needed. All our guests were awestruck by the beauty of the chateau. Each room is beautifully decorated, spacious and with a modern bathroom. The facilities the chateau has make it perfect for a weekend wedding. Without planning anything for days either side of the wedding day, our guests were entertained with 2 pools, walks around the grouonds, table tennis and plenty of food which the caterers provided. All the recommendations that Maartje gave were fantastic from the string quartet, the DJ who was happy to keep playing until the early hours of the morning, the coach company from the airport and especially the caterers. Every meal was delicious.
I cannot speak highly enough of Chateau de Maulmont and how fantastic Maartje and Ian are. If you are thinking of a wedding in France I could not think of a better place to get married."

"Le Châtaeu de Maulmont est tout simplement époustouflant ! La salle est magnifique, le cadre idyllique, les chambres somptueuses et les propriétaires sont adorables ! Ils se sont pliés en 4 pour que toutes nos demandes et tous nos désirs puissent être réalisés. Nous sommes encor sous le charme de cet écrin de rêve dans laquel nosu avons eu l'impression d'être coupés du monde et immergés dans une véritable bulle de bonheur tout au long de notre week-end de mariage."

"The BFH was a huge success and we had the most fantastic time staying in your beautiful chateau. It's true to say that from the moment we first met you on our fact-finding mission, we were totally confident and sure that it was the right place and that you were the right people to help us make it the special event it was. It sounds too formal to use the term "customer service" but the way you welcomed us and dealt with all the guests and our needs was perfect. We all felt so comfortable and at home (if only...!!) and that was thanks to you. It was a great team effort, with the input from your various local contacts including the catering and the outdoor activities, and also the way you worked seamlessly with the Wonderland group. Special mention to Nicolas behind the bar who was so long-suffering and pateint with us all !"
